Day 14 - Negreira to Santa Marina - 21.5Km

Well last night was interesting. Someone turned all the lights off at 9.30 despite being under the impression it was at 10.30. Snoring competition was in full swing most of the night then people started packing up from 5 .30. We were near the room door and it seems people have never used a door handle before based on the way they crashed in or crashed out of the room!

Anyway!

Todays walk was a bit more challenging with ups and downs though there was a lot more road walking than yesterday. At least this part is more like the Frances where paths are running alongside the road, whereas on our main portuguese camino we often shared the road with traffic.

We had a lovely moment where a hare joined us on the path, and a great coffee/breakfast stop at the top of a big climb. Otherwise we powered through the walk in record time.

We arrived at Santa Marina at 2pm and the albergue has 17 beds in the smallest space and is loud. There is 1 shower and 2 toilets in a small bathroom. There was a seperate room available for around 10 euro more each. After last night i wanted the peace!

Tomorrow is a short day so we are considering options to walk further to make the last day a bit shorter.

Todays accomodation is a one accomodation with food place! So dinner will be here and hopefully with a better sleep!!
