Day 0 - Manchester to Porto

If you arrive at the airport 90 minutes before your flight, security will take about 80 minutes. If however you are there 3 hours early security will take 5 minutes.

Its the law of air travel.

Bags dropped, security clear in record time, some tapas and a beer in the airport well deserved. Others had a similar idea as Ryanair flights and lager louts is the other law of budget air travel.

Porto airport was a breeze, the new EES biometrics made no difference as i arrived first to passport control.

My bag which has been packed and repacked 27 times was the first on the conveyor and the hotel was a mere 5 minutes walk.

The holiday gods are on my side today! Its time for Camino!!
